Financial Administrator

KP Technica is actively hiring for a Financial Administrator for our new office in Cebu who will leverage proven financial and data entry experience, and work with our finance team and finance accountant.

This is a 1 year rolling contract role working office hours in the UTC+1 time zone. The role will start initially remotely with office attendance in Cebu city required after Covid restrictions are lifted.

Key Responsibilities include:

Assisting in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Assisting the Finance Manager in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and budgeting.
Reviewing and processing purchase invoices.
Development of company financial processes and procedures.
Correspond with customers to resolve any queries or questions.
Process and reconcile expense reports and payments.
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Involvement in accounts payable processes including preparation of payment runs and payments.
Monthly payroll using Accounts IQ, payroll reporting working with PAYE and ROS submissions and liaising with HR in relation to employee joiners and leavers.
Daily bank and credit card reconciliations.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date, resolving invoice discrepancies.
Carrying out ad hoc accounting and tax requests and projects as delegated.
Reconciliation of bank accounts.
Follow up on all debtor and creditor related queries in a timely and professional manner.
Opening new accounts on the subcontract ledger.
Administration, preparation and filing of routine tax returns and filings under supervision of the Finance Manager.

Key Requirements Include:
Strong computer skills required, for example; Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Packages (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs).
Have excellent interpersonal, written and spoken communication skills.
Proven track record of ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise deadlines using one’s own initiative.
Ability to take a professional, organised and positive approach to problem solving.
Ability to work as part of a team.
